Sabrina Hansen, MSW

I’m Sabrina, a trauma and grief-informed therapist, passionate about helping adults 18+ navigate life’s emotional challenges with compassion and expertise. Whether you’re navigating grief, loss, the pressure to constantly succeed, or a major life transition - such as the end of a relationship, retirement, chronic illness, or job loss, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore and heal. My clients often describe me as their “sunshine,” appreciating the warmth and authenticity I bring to our sessions.

I also specialize in working with high-level executives who, despite outward professional success, may struggle with stress, burnout, identity, or purpose. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a high-achieving executive, giving me a unique understanding of the challenges leaders face in managing stress, staying connected to their values, and finding meaning. I bring this insight to my work with leaders, offering a collaborative, empathetic approach to help you realign with your goals and achieve a greater sense of fulfillment.

My approach is deeply rooted in evidence-based mind-body modalities, including certifications in Hypnosis and HeartMath, which are proven to enhance emotional resilience, reduce stress, and foster healing. These tools, combined with mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy (MB-CBT) and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), create a customized framework to support you in finding clarity, balance, and fulfillment.

With experience spanning hospital-based care, outpatient therapy, and intensive programs, I bring a versatile skill set tailored to your needs. Therapy is most effective when built on genuine connection and open dialogue, and I am committed to fostering an environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Taking this step to seek therapy can feel daunting, but it’s also an inspiring act of courage and hope. I’d be honored to offer a free consultation to discuss your goals and explore how we can work together to support your healing and growth. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
