I’m Ranya, a therapist and the practice owner of Insight Therapy Services. I serve clients ages teen to adult, addressing a variety of life challenges including, low self-worth, life transitions, anxiety, mood dysregulation, family conflict, social stressors, self-harm, and more.
I specialize in the young adult population and in doing deeper work with all ages on pervasive shame and low self-worth that can block finding true connection with others. I'm certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and can incorporate skill-building into sessions for individuals with traits of a personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders.
Oftentimes, teens and parents have different viewpoints but ultimately want to arrive at the same goal. I offer parent coaching and combined parent/child sessions to bridge communication gaps and increase empathy to heal relationships.
While some clients have clear goals, others are unsure where to start. I aim to be collaborative, prioritizing your desired goals while also helping to broaden your perspectives and challenge unhelpful beliefs. Sessions are free of judgment and will give you the space to be your true self. My approach is professional and fun, while welcoming both laughter and tears.
My career journey has included working with individuals with mental health concerns in a variety of settings, such as group homes, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and intensive outpatient clinics. Effective and compassionate leadership is a passion of mine and I’ve served as a Clinical Director with large behavioral health organizations. My goal of building Insight Therapy was to bring together a team of skilled and trusted therapists who have the ability to make impactful change in the lives of others.
I am a board approved supervisor for social workers working towards licensure. Please contact me if you’re interested in clinical supervision.
